Holiday Hours

First I want to wish every a happy and safe holiday. I hope everyone enjoys their Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa or other holiday they celebrate this time of year. I also hope everyone has a safe and fun New Years. I wanted to let all of our customers know as soon as possible our holiday hours and days we will be closed so that you can arrange to get what you need before we are closed. I know many of you rely on us for your propane gas, mobile home parts, camper parts and your HVAC work. Our HVAC team has been hard at work fixing and servicing mobile home furnaces this winter. They also just finished another course on continuing their education so that they can keep up on all of the new technology and changes in mobile home heating and cooling. We are truly blessed in many ways. We have an great staff and our HVAC crew is one of the best for mobile homes in this area. Paul Marcum, our lead HVAC technician has been with us for over 15 years doing nothing but mobile home heating and cooling. This is a family owned business as most of our customers know, and he is as much family as the rest of our staff. My grandfather started this business in 1982 with a very simple goal in mind and that is to sell quality mobile home and camper parts and supplies at great prices. I was only four years old at that time but I can remember being a young boy going into his shop and seeing the way he interacted with customers. He genuinely wants to help everyone and his dedication is one of the qualities I respect most in him. Below are the days we will be closed for the Christmas holiday as well as New Years.

We will be closed December 24^th and 25^th for Christmas and December 31^st and January 1^st for New Years. Please try to get anything you need before that, as we do not want anyone to have to do without during this holiday season.

Get Ready for Winter

Do not be caught off guard this winter. Call our licensed and bonded HVAC crew out now to check your heater and ensure it is in proper running condition. Our crew will come out, do a routine checkup, and make sure all parts are in safe working order and get you ready for the upcoming cold winter nights. Our HVAC team leader Paul Marcum has been on the job for over 15 years and continues his education on the new a/c and heating technology. We also fill propane tanks so if you live in a camper or RV and heat and/or cook with propane come by and let us fill your tank. After a few tense days in the hospital, the owner Mr. Wilson is now home and recovering nicely. We would like to thank all of you who expressed concern and prayed for his recovery. It was truly touching how many of you noticed his absence and were genuinely concerned about his health and well-being. Although he will be recovering at home for the next week or so, he is still an important part of the business, still the owner and sole proprietor and will be back as soon as the doctor clears him. I can assure you because I speak with him often he is as anxious to get back to work as many of you are to see him back. As many of you know this is a Family ran business and we like to think of our customers as family. We are all worried about his health and well being and praying for his speedy recovery. Until he returns all of us employees are banning together to make sure we can deliver the same quality service that he has upheld for over 27 years. I would like to everyone again for the flowers, cards and just the concern shown for him. He is a very important person in our lives and I am so proud to see how important he is to so many of you. Closed for the Holiday

Hello all,

We plan to be closed Monday for the Memorial Day holiday. We hope that you all take this time to tell some of the service men and women around you thank you. Even if you do not support the reason our troops are fighting, we have to support them for stepping up and making this a better country for us all.

We have been doing a lot of cleaning in many ways here at Alabama Mobile Home. Both on the inside of our store in ways you can see, and on our online presence in many ways you may not notice. We now have a Twitter following and post regular updates @almobile and you are probably reading this on our blog at Blogger(dot)com.
